Can you collect all of the fragments, solve the mysteries, and find your way to a happy ending? What happens when fantasy is stripped away, leaving only belief behind?
Your established bond with your best friend Shannon makes you hesitant to open up to her about your struggles. Not out of any desire to hide things - you just don't want Shannon to be dragged into a potentially dangerous situation.
Meanwhile, you haven't seen Lana in ten years; not since the death of your mother. Lana looks a bit different now with her dyed pink hair but she's still the same caring girl with a bit of a wild side that you remember from your youth.
Book Two focuses on the reality of things, dealing with matters at a surface level. If you strip away fantasy and leave only belief in those around you behind, what answers will you be able to find?

Installation Instructions:
- For optimal compatibility, please update to the latest version of Heart Fragment BEFORE completing the steps below. Trying to load the DLC from an older version may block access to the new content.
- Download the zip file.
- Extract the zip by right clicking to find extraction options.
- Open the folder for the base game of Heart Fragment and navigate to the folder titled "game". It should contain files titled "hfm.rpa" and "hft.rpa".
- From your unzipped DLC folder, there will two files titled "hfbel.rpa" and "hfbes.rpa" - move these into the same folder so that they are next to "hfm.rpa" and "hft.rpa" from step 3.

Probably one of my favourite games of all time. It touches on dark elements, choices with consequences and having arguably one of the best waifus in recent visual novels aka Shannon. Did not expect to enjoy this game as much as I did and purchased it on steam for $3. I am a male so usually these sorts of games are targeted toward female audience so its definitely a game I never would have picked up had if it not had female romances. A masterpiece, and one of my favourite visual novels of all time and I have played plenty. It doesn't spoon feed you the story, but rather leaves you curious and wondering just how you will end up as a result of your decisions. Another gem like head as code, where actions have consequences. I hope this game gets patreon or good backing, because this game definitely deserves it. An absolute gem.
Is this a continuation of the story or just additional routes? I'm usually not really interested in female ROs, to be honest, so I'm trying to figure out if this is worth buying for me.
It is both! While it does add two new routes, it primarily gives clues to figuring out the overall mystery of what is going on and answers a lot of questions asked in Book One, including a lot about Inigo's identity. If you are mostly interested in male ROs, because Lana's route is platonic only, you can romance anyone whose romantic routes you have previously completed, including Kay and Clive. :)
Can you please clarify what you mean by this? I’ve been trying to romance Shannon but I keep triggering Lana’s route instead on accident and I don’t know what it means, especially now with seeing what you’ve said about “previously”. Am I unable to pursue Shannon romantically while on Lana’s route until I’ve successfully triggered her route and did it?
Yes, to romance Shannon in Lana's route you'll need to have completed at least one of Shannon's romantic endings in her own route first. If you're having trouble getting onto Shannon's route, there's a walkthrough available here!
i am really tempted to buy this...... but my mom would be like "what the heck did you spend your money on" and that would be an embarrassing story to tell.. maybe ill get the courage soon!^^ edit:whatever im gonna get it

Unfortunately it was a little harder to set up on Itch than on Steam, where it was a simple matter of adding the DLC to the Steam package of people who purchased Book One.
